This program seeks to provide learning opportunities amongst those who are or soon will be professional members of the justice community, and to provide knowledge and resources relative to supervisory and managerial advancement within that field.  Upon completion of this program, graduates will have attained theoretical knowledge and practical skills that will leave them poised to advance and excel in a variety of leadership capacities in any of the three facets of the criminal justice system.  

  1. Total of 121 credit hours consisting of the following: 

  1. All Limestone University required Competency and General Education courses (27 hours; 33 including the math and history requirements noted below) 

  1. Mathematics for Business and Economics Course (MA115 will be accepted if taken prior to declaring major) to fulfill Competency and General Education requirements as well as major degree requirements (3 hours) 

  1. Elementary Statistics Course to fulfill Criminal Justice major degree requirements (3 hours) 

  1. United States History II Course to fulfill Competency and General Education requirements as well as major degree requirements (3 hours) 

  1. The required Criminal Justice Major Core Courses* as noted below (34 hours) 

  1. Criminal Justice Management Course (3 hours) 

  1. Applied Constitutional Law Course (3 hours) 

  2. Additional upper Level (300 or 400 level) Criminal Justice Courses (6 hours) 

  3. American National Government, State and Local Government, and Principles of Public Administration Courses (9 hours) 

  4. Employment and Labor Law Course (3 hours) 

  5. Principles of Management, Leadership in Organizations, and Performance Management Courses (9 hours) 

  6. Macroeconomics,Financial Accounting, and Marketing courses (6 hours) 

  7. Additional Criminal Justice or General Education Electives as needed (3 hours)
