Graduate Financial Aid
Limestone University is committed to helping our graduate students find ways to finance their education. Graduate students are eligible to receive Unsubsidized Stafford Loans and can also apply for the Grad Plus Loan. In order for us to consider you for these funds and to determine eligibility, please complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) no later than May 1st of each year. The FAFSA can be completed at www.studentaid.gov. Be sure to indicate on the FAFSA that you are seeking a Master’s Degree. Students can apply for the Grad Plus Loan online at studentaid.gov. You will need your Student Aid (FSA) username and password to log in.
Graduate students can also apply for private education loans to help with the costs of the program. For more information, please review the private loan website that can be accessed via the financial aid website.
Graduate students are not eligible for institutional scholarships, or for federal or state grants. However, in certain instances, prospective graduate student athletes may be eligible for athletic scholarship as determined by the Head Coach of each sport.
Graduate students are able to utilize certain military benefits if eligible. To be considered full time with the VA, students must be enrolled in one three credit hour class each term. Students should be registered in advance so their enrollments can be sent to the VA at least thirty days prior to class starting. Students receiving VA benefits must provide Limestone University with a copy of their certificate of eligibility prior to starting classes. Student using Military Tuition Assistance (TA) must have their TA approved two weeks prior to class starting and provide a copy of the approved voucher to Limestone's Military Service Center. Please visit the military benefits website to learn more, https://www.limestone.edu/military-benefits.
Failure to enroll in a sequential course each term may result in a loss of full-time VA benefits.
If you have questions regarding your eligibility for Veterans Benefits please contact the Veteran’s Benefits Coordinator at 864-488-7151 or via email at va@limestone.edu.
