KI496/A - Exercise Science Internship
Exercise Science is a broad and diverse field. The student is placed in a suitable setting which uniquely ties into specific interests and career goals related to the various disciplines in Exercise Science. The student will have a faculty sponsor as well as an approved site supervisor to mentor, direct, and supervise the student’s activities throughout the semester.
In addition to completing necessary paper and course work, a student is expected to complete 125 internship hours to earn three semester hours, or 250 hours for six semester hours. In addition, the student will be expected to meet with the Faculty Sponsor the semester before the actual internship to complete an application to ultimately deliver to the register’s office.

Prerequisites
Senior status, 2.5 g.p.a., Exercise Science major, approval from faculty sponsor, registered for the internship by the drop/add period of that semester, no more than one internship per semester, credit 3-6 hours
