EN324 - Literary Criticism

An introduction to the various techniques of literary analysis, with emphasis on the methods employed since the 1950’s. Students will apply various theoretical approaches--cultural/new historicist, deconstructionist, feminist, formalist, psychoanalytic, and reader response to poetry, fiction, and drama.
